The Maintenance Arts is a place where maintenance professionals, property managers, facilities teams, business leaders, and industry experts come together to share what they've learned over lifetimes of experience. Some lessons come from success, others from failure; all of them serve as a guide to make your journey a little easier. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate enough to work alongside remarkable people: technicians, managers, business owners, and many more in-between. These people taught me lessons I'll never forget. Some of those lessons were about maintenance, and many more while all of them aided in providing me with mentorship, whether they knew they were doing so or not. I have learned about everything from leadership and communication, to business and relationships, and even money and character. The Maintenance Arts exists to preserve those lessons and pass them on to the next generation. I don’t seek to tell you what to think, rather to help optimize your ability to think. In learning about the perspectives of multiple different roles within this industry, while also being applicable to other industries as well, you can improve your working relationships.
